Long Time...No Blog!

We got busy painting and preparing for the arrival of my parents.  They were going to stay a week and I convinced them to stay three!  So, now that their visit is over and I am back ... I decided to update the blog.  I decided before they came that the dark green walls had to go!  I needed a fresher perspective something a bit more cheery that would go with my AQUA love!  SO...here it is a buttery cream.

I LOVE it!  Now we need to do the staircase walls and 
the upstairs hall...

I decided we needed more seating for entertaining so I searched Craiglist and found an awesome old table for $50.  I then found a host of chairs for $35!  I got busy painting and Aquafying them!  I had them painted and distressed just in time for my mom and dad's arrival!  I love how they turned out.  I also gave our antique farm table a fresh coat of my Aqua Love...

We had to do away with the out dated lighting - 

it was driving us a bit crazy...

I got spunky one day and decided to paint the front door you guessed it...AQUA.

I didn't care if anyone else liked it - I was just gonna do it cuz it makes me happy!

I love the way it turned out - I love coming home and driving up to my house and seeing the 

cheery aqua door there to greet me!

Now I know many people are waiting to see the kitchen cabinets.  Yes, they are done!

I honestly have been doing SO much cooking - I have yet to clean my kitchen all spic and span for the photo shoot.  I will get on that in the next days I promise!

Oh...on that note - I need to go make some dinner!
