Escape

This weekend we took the boys to see "The Lorax" at the ultra Plush AMC at Ward Parkway.  It has a Cocktail Lounge in it!

The seats were like leather mini sofas!  The had electronic buttons that reclined you as you enjoyed the show!

The littles thought they had died and gone to Heaven!

As I watched the movie I was reminded of how great it is
 to escape reality for just a bit and get lost in the "Movies".
Let's help KABRINA escape her journey and bless
her with an iPad, Books, Cards and DVD's!

I spoke to Karen Saturday night and got a list

of DVD's that Kabrina would love to have.  

If you want to help send Kabrina a DVD let me know. 

I can send you some that she would enjoy or you can

and I will see that she gets one on the list.

I am trying to send her a package a week as well as a card.

As of Friday Karen will need to provide her with special meals {anti bacterial} which can be costly.  

They are in need of Gift Cards to:

 Trader Joes, Ralph's or Vons.

With the mounting cost of GAS - 

Gas Cards to Shell or Arco would also be greatly appreciated!

Kabrina is slated to get her bone marrow transplant this week.

Pray that her body is fully prepared and that she stays well.

This is going to be a long journey and it is my mission 

to help in any way I can. 

Kabrina has experienced the normal side effects of this Chemo and has also lost her hair.  She could use some soft head scarves and could also use some new pajamas or yoga pants - soft fabrics - 

Size Med.  She is a fan of Paul Frank and the color Purple.  

She is not a Pink Frilly Girl - Blues and Purples suit her best!

She also loves the feel of a book in her hand.  She would love Barnes and Noble Gift Cards!  She can look online, pick a book and her mom can get it for her as there is a store near the hospital!

I am waiting for the unveiling of the iPad3 to see what the hype is about.  I am still on my mission to get her the iPad with a Long Charging Cord and Docking Station.

This all has been tough on Mama too - so if you feel led to donate a Gift Card to Massage Envy or for a Mani/Pedi I am sure Karen would LOVE that.  She is at CHOC Hospital in Orange, CA
 so perhaps a Spa near the Hospital would work!
